STEWARDSHIP
AT
SAINT MICHAEL
Stewardship, in the form of Prayer, Services and Sharing, is a way of giving thanks for what God has given us.
As disciples of Jesus Christ, stewards see themselves as caretakers of all God’s gifts. Gratitude for these gifts is expressed in prayer, worship, offering and action by eagerly sharing these gifts out of love of God and one another.

Give Back From All That God Has Given You?

PRAYER
As Catholics prayer is or at least should be a vital part of our everyday life. Do we take time out of our hectic days to spend a moment in prayer? As children many of us were taught to take a moment before each meal, at the start and end of each day and as we pass a catholic church to say a short prayer. Even today at St. Michael if you are on the playground at noon when the Angelus ring you will witness the students freeze in silence for a moment of prayer.  The greatest of all prayer is that of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, St. Michael offers a very beautiful celebration environment for the Mass. These are very important parts of our religious believes that St. Michael stewardship committee feels should be the heart of our stewardship program. If you are not involved in this part of the Church we invite you come and celebrate with us. Mass Schedules are listed on our web page find a mass that meets your schedule.

SERVICES
In our hectic world, time can be our most valuable commodity. If you can give up one hour a month or more, there are plenty of great things you can do for St. Michael’s, together with other parishioners, or by yourself. For those who cannot commit time on a regular basis, various annual events, such as Holiday Church Clean-Up Days, provide the chance to volunteer for an hour or two. God gives each of us beautiful and unique gifts in the form of talent that can make a meaningful difference to the future of our Parish.
No matter what your aptitude, there are lots of ways you can put your talents to good use for St. Michael’s. To see what different stewardship opportunities await you at Saint Michael Visit our Stewardship Opportunities Page

SHARING
Material blessings are, perhaps, the easiest to count and the most difficult to speak of. We at Saint Michael believe that this too is an important part of stewardship. Whether your income comes from your skills, labors, pensions or investments, there are ways to contribute incrementally to St. Michael’s without enduring a financial hardship.
