Baking for Ronald McDonald House
The Ronald McDonald House is in need of cookies/ baked goods that need to be home made, contain no nuts (because of potential allergies), and need to be easily held, such as cookies, rice crispies treats, unfrosted brownies, chocolate covered pretzels, etc.  They place a goody tray near the doors so that family members can grab a treat as they walk out to go to the hospital.  This is an all year round need.  Please deliver your goodie donation to the Ronald McDonald House at 711 Livingston Ave. (just south of Children’s Hospital)

CHILDREN OF LIGHT
Saint Michael Church - Worthington, Ohio
The Children of Light is a group originally designed for grade school aged children and their parents (although all ages are welcome), to come together and do charitable and faith based activities.  Some of these activities include helping out with Special Olympics, visiting nursing homes, putting together activity kits for Children’s Hospital, helping provide food and clothing for the poor, going to Adoration, etc.  This is a great opportunity for parents to live by example – an opportunity for children to see their parents living the way Jesus instructed us to live, doing the kinds of things Jesus told us to do.  Parents, this is your time to shine!

Before joining the Children of Light, all adults must have completed the Protecting God’s Children class and have their fingerprints on file with the school.  As a member of the Children of Light, you will not be “required” to participate in a set number of activities.  You will simply have access to the schedule of activities that the Children of Light will be attending, and you are free to sign up for as many or as few events or activities as you wish.
To join the Children of Light, contact the church office for further information.
